Spirit Halloween – Williamsburg, VA

The Spooky Season is sneaking up on us, and that means the vacant stores that nobody else will lease get turned into Spirit Halloween stores. The Williamsburg Kmart closed at the beginning of the year, and has sat vacant ever since. Normally Spirit covers the old store logo with a tarp sign to signify their presence, but I suppose with the Kmart logo mounted the way that it was, that wouldn’t be possible. Needless to say it is quite humorous that nobody put the slightest bit of effort into covering the old logo.

This store must have not liquidated much. Notice how the cash registers are still there! Actually just about all of the gondolas are still where they were before Kmart closed.
