Rio Road/Seminole Trail Separated Grade Intersection

This is a major intersection in Charlottesville, VA where Rio Road and Seminole Trail (US 29) cross. To keep Seminole Trail moving through the intersection, the road is split in half. Half of the road comes to the intersection for local traffic, while the other half goes under the bridge which separates the intersection.
This project was part of the Route 29 Solutions project through the Virginia Department of Transportation.
