Former Macy’s – Marlow Heights, Maryland

This is the former Macy’s (Hecht’s) at 4101 Branch Avenue in the Marlow Heights Shopping Center in Marlow Heights (Prince George’s County), MD.

This store opened in 1960 as Hecht’s and closed in 2021, and Macy’s did very little to this store before its closure. With the multiple entrances, windows, and absolutely gorgeous mid-century modern architecture, this was quite a retail time capsule.

According to the PG County property records, this store is still owned by Macy’s.
