Former Leggett – Waynesboro, VA

This building was built in 1963 and housed a Leggett up until 1993 when Leggett closed shop. Shortly after, a bicycle store moved in and lasted until the mid 2000s when they moved to a different location. Ever since then, the building has fallen into serious disrepair (it was raining the day I took these pictures and there were drops of water falling in several places around the inside of the building, moisture is also on the inside of all the glass making it hard to take photos of the interior). A demolition permit was posted on both entrances in 2013 however to this day, no movement toward demolition has been made.
