BEST Forest Showroom – Richmond, Virginia

This is the BEST Forest Showroom for BEST Products (now West End Presbyterian Church) at 9008 Quioccasin Rd, Richmond, VA

This showroom opened in 1980, and the building was designed to incorporate the trees that were already on the land when the store was built. The front facade was designed to look like it was splitting away from the building itself. This building was designed by James Wines, who also designed two other BEST showrooms in Richmond (and nine total).

This is the only one of the nine showrooms that are still in use today. While some modifications have been made, such as removing the windows from the facade, the Church has done a great job of maintaining the building and keeping it as close to the original design as possible.
