6th Street Marketplace Food Court
Photo description:
This was the food court of the former 6th Street Marketplace, a mall that was built in downtown Richmond and connected the Miller and Rhoads and Thalheimers department stores and had an iconic pedestrian bridge. All of the mall has been demolished except for this building which is situated between the Blues Armory and the 5th & Marshall parking garage. This building was built in 1986 and the food court was open until 2007.
